Make it effortless.
Getting dressed should not be the hardest thing you do that day.
Why this exists
Hoodies haven’t moved in decades. We built one because they needed to.
Most mornings, the wardrobe wins. You switch one thing for another. You change your mind. You change it back. Twenty minutes gone.
Ours ends that argument. Not by giving you a uniform. By giving you a hoodie that already made the decision before you walked in.
One garment. Two presentations. Zero decisions.
It is reversible. The hood stays up on its own. The shell is heavyweight, so it holds up over time. Made to disappear into your day.
How we work
We are stubborn about one thing. The wearer should stop thinking about us after the third minute.
The hood stays up because of how it is built. Four layers of heavy fabric, sewn so they hold their own shape. No wire, no plastic insert, no hidden trick. The zippers are YKK metal, chosen for the weight of the pull and the sound they make when you close them. The finished hoodie comes in at 1.7 kilograms, heavier than most winter coats hanging on a rack.
It was made in Zhongshan and it took us three prototypes. Not many, because we knew what we wanted the first time. The other two were us closing the gaps we could feel with our hands.
The moment it landed for me was styling it. One hoodie, every look I owned, and every one of them still felt like mine.
The two of us
It is not a brand. It is two people who could not let one piece of clothing go.
Charles
Indonesian-Chinese, based in Shanghai. Runs product, manufacturing, and the daily conversation with the factory in Zhongshan. Grew up between Jakarta and China and stayed on the mainland once the moving stopped. If a spec on this hoodie feels considered, it is because he sat with it.
Gary
Based in Melbourne. Runs the Australian side. Once tried to build a climbing gym and walked away from a half-finished one. Learned the lesson this brand runs on. Do not put your name on a thing you cannot stand behind.
Vol. I
One hundred hoodies. Fifty in XS, fifty in M. First come, first served. No drops, no countdowns dressed up as scarcity, no bot traps. One hundred is how many we can finish to the standard we hold. When the last one is spoken for, the waitlist closes. The next volume will exist when the next volume deserves to.
Made at Guangdong Rongdejie Garment Technology in Zhongshan. Australian trademark filed.
